Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert Burns: ”Annihalate the Palestinains? Excellent! Excellent!!”
The opening sentence today from Al Jazeera reads: Israeli warplanes have resumed their air strikes on Gaza, blasting targets all over the Strip, including a mosque and a TV station.
The opening sentence from the Jeruslem Post reads: In the heaviest military strike against the Gaza Strip since the 1967 Six Day War, the Israel Air Force bombed over 170 targets on Saturday, killing more than 230 Palestinians, as Israel launched “Operation Cast Lead,” aimed at putting a stop to Hamas rocket attacks against the South.
Right off the bat the Jerusalam Post included an excuse for this operation of carnage.
- When a person who was abused as a child does not recognize themselves as carrying on with the same behavior it’s called basic denial. Guess what Israel, you learned nothing from the Holocaust. You have no excuses, you are mean piggies.
Ehud, go visit Gaza, you’ll have more then a shoe thrown at you. And guess what, Hitler would be proud of you so exactly WHAT do you think you’re doing? I can’t wait till you’re out of office and your country opens it’s eyes and elects someone decent who isn’t a conservative asshole like you.

hey, from what i understandthe Israel Air Force bombed over 170 targets, it means that in each target less the 2 (average)lost their lifes. i think it is quite impressive.

To all the people who sleep safely in their beds at night and have the audacity to criticize the Israeli government, this is for you:
None of you spoke in the past 8 years when rockets and bombs fell in southern Israeli cities, causing death and damage without any provocation on our part.
What you need to understand are two things-
First of all, there is no functioning government in Gaza. The Hamas took over and they are running the show. The Hamas, in case you didn’t know, is a terror organization. Just like Al-kaida and Hezbollah. Israel is dealing with terror organizations all around its borders. Not with governments. And not with civilians. We have nothing against the Palestinians. Only the terrorists.
The second thing you need to know is that the Hamas is a very cynical organization which uses innocent women and children to fight Israel. They launch their missals from civilian’s houses, not from open fields or military camps, and when the Israeli army wants to destroy those missals launchers- sometimes innocent people die.
Ask yourself- what would you do if your life was constantly under threat? Look at the map. Maybe that will help you grasp our geographic situation.
The purpose of the Israeli army is to defend. Not attack.
So next time you think about how miserable and poor the Palestinians are, and how powerful and evil the Israelis are- think again.

Shira, nice assumption you made that none of us spoke out on the Hamas rocket attacks. That is demonstrably false. I oppose all death an destruction regardless of who the perpetrator and the victims are. Will you take the same position and condemn the Israeli government for its recent highly disproportionate attacks in Gaza?

SHIRA…nice try. look again. then again, and if you still don’t get it then take your head out of your arse, there’s a whole universe out here who condemns the actions of israel. in fact there’s many israeilites who condemn the israeli government’s actions because they are not the ethnocentric israeli’s and learned from hitler’s actions instead of repeating them.
ehud omert should be named adolf olmert….no difference.
