Bear Naked
Check out this little guy….i didn’t get quite the pic i’d like but that’s ok, just watching this young brown bear run down the hill on the side of the duffy lake road was awesome! then there were the elk and mountain goats in jasper (a hot spot for wildlife, kinda like what banff used to be). hopefully i’ll get some more photos up , including a moose and her calf.
Smoke Screen
Oh great…Bill Gates and Micheal Bloomberg are turning their philanthropist bucks to fight smoking. Isn’t that kind? I don’t have any objection, per se, if these men want to help people quit….but come on, let’s look at the REAL numbers of why people are dying (besides war, the plague, throw out your dead and all that).
GUYS, GET IT RIGHT! you are only diverting attention from YOUR factories that produce a gazillion dioxins and other pollutants that hit not only the air but the water and land. YOU are the ones killing us, especially ju jan xing in his little hovel in china who makes your plastic and metal computer parts and fries his lungs while the toxins fill his home and kill ju jan xing jr.. Mr. Gates, you are GUILTY AS CHARGED so put the noose around your neck yourself, we are getting tired of hanging you creeps.
i will not deny that if you do not smoke in moderation you are risking your health….i risk my health and i CHOOSE to do so, but i do not CHOOSE TO BREATHE YOUR FUCKING SHIT!

i’d like to know the amount of people who die as a result of the pollutants from your industries…bet it beats the measley ‘up to one billion people by the end of the century’ lame figures. bet most of those aren’t dead as a DIRECT result of smoking TOBACCO, but of smoking additive, chemically grown tobacco and all the fucking pollution you put in our land, air, water and 9-5 lives.

YAY……and where the hell have i been? at the lac ste. anne’s pilgramage, which has led me to north of peace river then i’m heading east to a rez at wood buffalo national park. whew! all started with being asked to treat a woman with pancreatic cancer. now we’re trying to track down the cause of so many on the rez with cancer. the suspect: a japanese owned pulp mill in peace river. guess who their biggest client is? national geographic!! ah hah, getting interesing!!!

Cornwall. July 15, 2008. On June 14th 2008
Katenies and Kahentinetha – who are both writers
and contributors to Mohawk Nation News [MNN
www.mohawknationnews.com] – were handcuffed and tackled
to the ground at the Cornwall border checkpoint.
The Canada Border Services agents acted as though
they had lost control of themselves, or they had no
regard for legal propriety. Neither woman did
anything wrong. The attacks were unprovoked but
seem to have been directed by whoever was at the
other end of the cell phone.
Katenies was jailed and held incommunicado for
three days. Kahentinetha suffered a heart attack
and is under the care of her doctors and her family.
Because of her condition Kahentinetha cannot go
to court to support Katenies.
Katenies demands respect for herself, for anyone
who asserts Kanion’ke:haka jurisdiction and
condemns Canada’s illegal border. The charges
against her are false and vindictive. The Ontario
court is public. Anyone who believes in the rule
of law and condemns the brutal attacks on these
women and many others is welcome to stand with
her at:

OH That Zany P.M. – Some Things Never Change
Prime Minister Stehpen Harper recently visitied Mohawk Clan Mother , Kahentinetha Horn who had suffered a trauma induced heart attack after being held and roughed up at the border. First Nations are allowed to freely cross the U.S./Canadian border but some whipper snappers decided it was more fun to pick on Kahentinetha and her friend Katenies (both grandmothers). Stephen Harper visited Kahentinetha in the hospital:
Steve: I’m not going to say I’m sorry for what my government did to you at the border because I already apologized to First Nations, and well, enough is enough. But, while you’re down and out, if you’d just sign here to give away your reserve, let us mine it, and promise to be good, subserviant and all that I’d really appreciate it. I’ll even throw in some whiskey.
Kahentinetha: ZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzz
Steve: Can I assume that’s a ‘yes’?
Kahentinetha: Yawn.

No Matter What, YOU become a part of THEM
No matter what, you become a part of them…you are a part of THEM. who? the system. they got ya and you don’t even know it. part of this is innocense, part of this is ego, self interest, you have a stake in yourself that you’re not going to let go of….and that’s all because they don’t want you to and you bought into it….you bought the part that appeals either to 1. ego and self interest 2. fear 3. common sense.
As soon as you remove yourself from a certified nutcase, one who blabbers on endlessly about the wrongs of the system, JUST LIKE YOU, but has it on her official record that she’s a nutcase….or has confessed to this…then you have lost out.
removal comes in several forms….physical removal (you just won’t go near this person), virtual removal (no way are you going to link to her or comment on or visit her site), mentally (i’m not even going to think about her), emotional (if i get caught up in her cause for mental health or aboriginal activism it may upset me too much hearing the truth all the time), spiritually (sending good thoughts, prayers, whatever, no way, i’m just going to think of her as fucking nuts , therefore she is fucking nuts, therefore i’m right and absolve myself of any kindness….she is now just fucking nuts – see, there’s proof, she’s certified).
FEAR: you’re a blogger. your ego says you’d like a certain amount of visitors to your site, and that you be considered ‘legitimate’ in the eyes of the alternative world or maybe even the mainstream world. you’d like to be considered a source of legite info that takes the course of seeing outside msm’s limited eye. so you can’t, just can’t be seen as associated with a certified nut. what would this do to your status? your authority on topics? why , this may just undermine and compromise YOU, given that you are putting yourself above the higher power and subjecting yourself to all of what THE SYSTEM is about. didn’t think you’d ever be caught, did ya? why? you didn’t know you were operating this way. yup, denial, just the thing you judge the politicians, corporations and xtian advocay groups with.
UNFEAR: you have nothing to lose. what, you think you’re going to end up on the blogosphere’s back alley , a homeless (siteless), starving (no one paying attention , blogstats decline) , mentally ill (you’ve made fun of your quirks and proclaimed yourself nutz but it’s all in jest, now someone threatens the reality of it) ? and if you do end up there….what? ah yes, all those hours put in, all that thought, all that research thrown out like a baby in the bath water if you don’t get so many hits a day, left style blog awards, a certain ‘following’…….do you crave popularity among your peers that much? lossen and listen’ up – this is all false foundation. you’re gonna quake and crumble no matter what if you have a false foundation. just act solid, live solid, be solid and you have nothing to fear. if you are thinking and acting on truth (only found in nature, go out and meditate to the tune of the bushes…heh heh, pardon the pun).
ya, that’s it, people. no matter how strongly you avow yourself to not being a part of
THEM , or thinking like the bad guy THEM, you are acting and being just like THEM if you have false fears , fears that somehow, you may not appear legitimate. they got ya, long ago, how does it feel to wake up to this?
so where am i going with all this? not far. i’m just sitting here in the office portion of my house (my ’85 vw van), posting some kaka to add to the kaka. only wait…..isn’t a lot of what i’m saying ringing true?

Quebec…300 years young
Scout left the festish ball early to transport to the celebrations in Quebec City , marking it’s 300th birthday. What a city that place is….I’d love to spend some more time there one day.
The Samuel Champlaigne was uncorked and everyone pretended what a great guy this injun killer was. People were protesting the protestors there, you know, some First Nation’s supporters who realize it’s really Native land. Of course, Quebec seperatists, the ones who want sovereignty for themselves but would do away with rights for aboriginals were singing their tune. What a day!!!!
All in all it was more interesting then the festish ball where yours truly was one of two artistically done up….drag (pardon the pun). Basic black ruled but I chose the Hawaiian national colours to adorn myself in a shiny red bra with a muscle shirt over top, red boxer shorts with black fish nets and a shiny green bathrobe. What did I wear on my feet? Can’t remember but I did like my bowtie.
Oh we all do love to celebrate in our own way
