Maybe it was too subtle. Maybe it was sent too late. All I know is me poor aching heart was ripped out by the hands of the very man Canada looks up to to keep our country laughing…Rick Mercer.
Yes, I entered the above in his photo challenge for ‘The Three Amigos’ and didn’t get chosen. I have no choice now but to drown my sorrows over several glasses of maple syrup and stuff my mouth with medium cheddar cheese. I may even wear a toque while doing so.
Mercer, you’re a cruel, cruel man, even if you do skinny dip with Bob Rae.

Whooee! Mercer’s a blog snob, sez I. I sent in a photo challenge and it never went up, too. He don’t answer my emals, neither. He don’t have a blogroll. He don’t allow comments.
I watch him on the TV an’ I reckon he’s funny enough but he don’t know squat about boogin’. Garth Turner could teach him a thing or two.

heh heh, thanks coyote….if you look at the choicees they all have larger alterations……..i wasn’t surprised i didn’t get picked. but i wanated to put this up here asthought it was amusante. needs to be BIG to really appreciate it though

Meh…don’t worry about it Scout. Mercer is just a prick. He’s never, as far as I know done ANYTHING for the gay community. He just hangs out with the rich and famous…when he’s not serving as a poster boy for the war in Afghanistan. I used to think he was funny, but now I don’t…..

simon, naw, i’m not sweating it. funny what you say about him not being funny anymore. now that we have rabbitt ears for our tv, we watched him the other night and it was like, ‘huh?’. there were a couple of chuckles but that’s about it.
he does like to have bob rae on his show. i guess that’s as gay as he gets.
