More like “Dong Brothers’ or ‘Wrong Brothers’. WHAT HAS BEEN HAPPENING? I’ve been in the boon docks or too restricted while hotspotting wifi in my truck. Once I saw a brief glimpse of Peter and Condi ‘agreeing to disagree’ and damn I wish I’d downloaded the shot so I could do something silly with it!!!!!!
Will be flying home for a week as an Uncle died. Am at a friend’s house now and it’s the first time I’ve sat on a couch, used a toaster, and have the prospects of sleeping in a REAL bed in my own room since December 12th….OH YAY!!! No rats, no mongoose, no centipedes to ward off….just 3 pugs and I’m loving patting them.
Heavy whale watching yesterday…whoa! Hope some pics turn out. Am up north now in Hawi, a charming small town I hope to post a few pics of. This is where the earthquake damage was heaviest and the campground I’m at is crude anyways, but has no water because the pipes are ancient and got busted up. The washrooms there are….hmmm…..well….I’d rather be camping illegally and using the bushes…that won’t happen now till I get back here.

We are reminded in the papers the U.S. is on AMBER ALERT. Wonder when Bush is going to pull another terrorist act to enstate Marshall Law and render Congress useless???

The boys here in Canada are still doing their same old shit. Harper is still Harper and trying his darnedest to make Dion look bad as if he’s expecting a non-confidence vote. And so he should.
I’m sorry about your uncle, I’ve lost so many over the years I know what it’s like to lose the good ones (big family here), does this mean you’re back permanently?
Isn’t an amber alert when a child has gone missing or is that a White House propaganda alert? Really the only news in the US you might have missed is Anna Nicole’s death. Count your blessings that you missed it.

Yeah, I thought Amber Alert was when a child goes missing, too. Hm.
I must say, in recent pics of Condi she seems to look very thin.
When do you come back home for good? I’m envious of your life right now, that’s for sure, though rustic bathrooms aren’t my fave at all.

There is a new term in Hollywood called “Vulcanism”, which is used for when the botox injection goes a little astray and the result is not unlike your wrong brothers!
Saw a worrying report about Canada the other night on the TV, a doco about how Canada’s greenhouse emmissions are slightly out of control on Harpers watch and that he, like Bush, is sitting very unprettily in the pockets of the oil industry. Sounded definitely “red alert” time. I have nothing to crow about on that front as Howard is no better here – which means us!! Lord help us! Very sorry to heart about your Uncle and all the best to you. Austin.

Now, in other news, Prince Charles gave Mickey D’s the special sauce the other day…Raspberry I think! He asked the UAE when they are going to BAN Mc’D's in their country? He declared McD’s a health hazard, as we all know they are.
Then there is the British mom whose 8 year old 280 lb son is on the Endangered Species list with the CHild Protective Services there.
Oh, yeah, we have been basically out of gas here due to a refinery fire…real shortages, and the CN has been on strike, but hey, they can still derail their trains there in beautiful BC and spill hydrochloric acid all over the place.
Back home…SSDD! Enjoy the pineapples, eh? LOL

Sorry to hear about your Uncle, Scout…. and I was just asking you a question about one of the Uncles on my blog ‘neath your comment, before i came here to read this…
As you know, i don’t give a rat’s ass about rich, botox-silicone-injected bimbos either. all i know is this one died and there was some snafu about a bunch of guys all claiming to be father of her child. this was stuff i heard in passing when i was too slow switching channels.
The others here have reported the news to you pretty well. i’ll only add that a 9 year old Canadian boy with Iranian parents has been locked up by DHS/ICE in Texas, at T. Don Hutto, thanks to Dubya’s paranoid GWOT policies… they’ve outsourced their immigration prisons to private contractor. thousands of people locked up in concentration camps on US soil… wonder how many Amerikan taxpayers know where their $$ are going? not to medicare, childcare, social programs, that’s for sure! .. otherwise, nothing much new… gas shortage still ongoing, with prices sky high here in Ontario. I can’t believe it’s all because of one refinery fire and the CN strike which is over…. sounds like a lot of manipulating bs to me. And we’ve had a couple bad winter storms here too, with arctic cold. lotsa fun!
