Thanks to everyone who voted for me….those ruber cheques are in the mail. I’m happy because this is an accomplishment for me. When you fail beginner’s swimming twice it leaves a traumatic, boo hoo, excuse me, i’ve been thrown back to tradgedy. Sniffle, sniffle, I couldn’t have done this without bufoon world leaders. Thanks for fucking up the world, guys.
Thank you, Robert, for doing all the work!!! It stressed me out this week and I’ll send my therapist’s bill to you.
Best of all and what makes me most proud about my site is my community of links and the regulars who come to hassle me. It gives a whole new meaning to lithium.
Congrats to all the other winners, some are linked here and I’ll do a little note after I copy and paste things….but you can go to CBA and have a gander, newfoundland for yourself.
As for next year’s new category, the ‘Insert Something Clever’ Award, I understand Havril is donning his gown to accept the award from Robert (the ceremonies were held in Sudbury). In fact, yes, my live webcam is picking up an image of my fave funny guy now…..yes, it’s Havril looking very ‘enchante’, I think it’s a Stephane Dion thing……….we’ll wait for his speech….

the anon….shoots, i missed you too!!! bad scout! well , it’s not up to the organizer’s whom the people nominate then vote for. i’m too old a fart to ‘get’ rami’s page….she aims for the pubescent crowd and does a great job showing and telling them what they want to hear………she probably wouldn’t ‘get’ this site as i don’t believe she’s political.
so, to each their own , she did it, even beat out mercer which is quite funny in it’s own way, and we have to hand it to her. the kids of canadian blogs have spoken and it’s good to know they have a strong voice……..after all, it’s us old geezers they have to ‘live under’.

annamarie, thanks again! we could have a selction of your hockey pucks and my hockey pucks….maybe we should just play hockey? and yes, i think it is a generational thing and i say ‘yay’ for the youth!!!!gawd knows we had our accessible heroes back then…even if it was to call the local d.j. ‘hi, my name is scout, could you play any dylan tune and i’d like to send it out to the world with love and peace’. oh, ha, MAD magazine was a great anti-establishment read , though that started us on the track around grade five or something…..i still think it’s very important.
